The Speaker Series returns with visual artist, Quinha Faria or Portland, OR. While working as a Emergency Room nurse in Philadelphia, Quinha apprenticed master tailor Larnell Baldwin to learn pattern making and custom garment manufacturing.

About the event
Quinha Faria founded the Philadelphia Packaging Company, a nine-person collective that distributed free, print publications honoring the stories of small business owners in Philadelphia. Her work has been included at various national shows such as Vox Populi, Asian Arts Initiative, Mural Arts in Philadelphia and Frieze New York. Quinha is pursuing her MFA in painting at Bard.
This event is open to anyone who believes in supporting a creative, positive, equitable, and beautifully designed community. Limited space, the first 90 guests to RSVP will be admitted. Please be safe and respect each other's personal space. Masks are optional and please don't attend if you are sick.
