Position Overview
Are you passionate about placemaking and skilled at social media? Paper Whale is seeking a creative, detail-oriented Digital Culture Creator to assist with the organization’s storytelling, event promotion, audience growth, and general brand presence in Bellingham and the broader Pacific Northwest.
This role blends hands-on content creation with community outreach, helping bring Paper Whale’s exciting events, placemaking activations, and impact stories to life across a variety of digital platforms. Working closely with the Marketing Manager, the Digital Culture Creator will implement digital campaigns, produce engaging multimedia content, and support the organization’s overall marketing strategy.
The ideal candidate blends visual storytelling, social media intelligence, cultural awareness, and networking skills to create unique digital content that captures new audiences and keeps the existing audience engaged in meaningful ways.
Our small, but mighty, team makes BIG things happen! We think outside the box when it comes to building community, and need a resourceful digital creator to help us take our social media to the next level.
